24 - video

[The video feed kicks on and Charlie has quite successfully knocked over a majority of one of the strange structures with the help of a rather large, rather red bird. Quite clearly impressed with what she's done, both fists shoot in the air and a very jubilant YES! is heard, followed by the rarest of things from Charlie.

She laughs. Picking up a yellow bird who had hopped up next to her (there was a line of odd birds, actually, in a variety of colors and the yellow bird doesn't seem to mind being picked up) she speaks. She's not aware the device is on.]

This is quite possibly the best day for this kind of curse to happen. The absolute best day.

ooc: it's her birthday, not that anyone past steve and bucky know. this is her favorite game on her iTouch, too.

Okay, so. There's a giant slingshot over there. [And sitting inside it was a bird, waiting very patiently.] Pull that back, aim it at the structure and let go. Not much to it.

[Rose moves over to the slingshot, boggling a bit at the whole process. She pulled the slingshot back, aimed and let go. The bird hit a bit too low and shuddered the structure but didn't knock it down.]

Takes a bit of practice, yeah?

Yeah. It's frustrating but worth it once you figure it out.

I'll give it another go. [This turn is better. She knocks about half the structure down.]

[Welp! Color Charlie impressed! A larger bird hops up, looking up at Rose.] Want to give it another shot?

Guess I should. [She overshoots the structure this time, too much compensating for what she thought the weight of the bird would be. She wrinkles her nose a bit and shrugs.] Bit more practice I s'pose. Your turn.

[Charlie nods as a slightly triangular, yellow bird hops into the catapult. She pulls back, fires....and the bird zooms off rather quickly. It knocks over a bit more. All but one pig vanishes.] Oh, come on.

[siiiiigh.] See what I mean about frustrating?

[Rose winces and then groans when the pig remains standing.] Oi. Yeah absolutely. [She points to the slingshot as another bird hops up.] Have another go at it though.

Little bird, please be the one to end the piggies horrible reign. [The bird squawks loudly, hopping once or twice in the slingshot. It's impatient. Charlie sends it flying and...somehow manages to fumble it enough to send it flying backwards.] The hell?

[She's embarrassed and so amused by what she'd just done.]

Wow. There goes even a two star rating.

Give it another shot. Ought to get better this time. [And then there's a laugh] Can't get much worse, yeah?

No. I don't think it can. That was awkward. [Charlie tries again, though and successfully takes out the remainder of the structure.] YES! Thank you, God!

[Her success gets applause and a whoop from Rose.] Nice shot.

[She glances around then points.] 'Nother set up over there.

[She looks over, this structure looking a bit bigger than the last before smirking at Rose. She speaks as she hurries over to the fort.] The answer is always yes. You get first shot.

[Rose is fairly excited about this as she pulls back the slingshot, carefully lining up the shot. The bird is a small blue one. It flies out, separates into three birds and hits the structure, breaking a few of the glass bits and upsetting one of the pigs.]

did you see that? turned into three birds. Not half bad though.
